Fall TV season is the best time to have Hulu, which you really should by now (or ask a friend, this isn't hard). The streaming service is also making a strong play for beloved TV from the '90s and more, because nostalgia never goes out of style.

Top pick: Man Seeking Woman

FXX's absurdist original series about token-nice-guy Josh (Jay Baruchel) trying to find romance is at its weirdest and best in Season 3. He finally gets a serious girlfriend (Katie Findlay), but losing its main conflict only makes the show better. Josh and Lucy meet each other's parents and friends and figure out how to live and work together as a unit. Catch the whole show on Hulu – it ends without overstaying its welcome or tiring out its premise.
