Get ready to feel a lot of warm and fuzzy feelings.

A 25-second trailer for the animated short film In A Heartbeat has social media users buzzing, particularly for its brief but beautiful portrayal of young love between two boys.

In the trailer, no words are spoken. Viewers just see a sweet redheaded boy try to control his heart (literally) when he sees his crush -- another boy.

The super short animation left many social media users with a whole lot of feelings. Clearly, because only a heartless person would not completely swoon over this trailer.

In A Heartbeat was created by two animation students -- Beth David and Esteban Bravo -- at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida for their senior thesis. The full film, the pair say, will follow a closeted boy who "runs the risk of being outed by his own heart after it pops out of his chest to chase down the boy of his dreams."

The film was partly funded via Kickstarter in a campaign that went viral in November 2016. The purpose of the campaign was to fund music and sound engineering for the film. With an initial goal of $3,000, the pair raised over $14,000 by the end of the campaign.

The short film is particularly groundbreaking given the lack of representation of queer people in movies, especially animated film. Walt Disney Studios, the gatekeeper of mainstream animated films, has almost exclusively received "failing" ratings on GLAAD's Studio Responsibility Index for the past several years for failing to include LGBTQ characters in their films. Other animated movies, like the South Park movies and Sausage Party, depict hyper-sexualized and problematic portrayals of LGBTQ life and identity, which isn't any better.

This means independent creators are tasked with filling the gaps in representation -- and the creators of In a Heartbeat are clearly doing just that.

The short film is set to be released online this summer for free. We'll be anxiously awaiting, along with the rest of the internet.
