J.K. Rowling would like to wish you a very happy new year.

And what better way to welcome in 2019 than with a gloriously captioned photo of her pooch, Brontë?

On Monday morning, the Harry Potter author posted this:

The ticklish hound in that photo is Rowling's West Highland Terrier, who is also something of a regular on her Twitter feed.
