Both Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Boxes are now around market price at Amazon
If you’ve been tracking Pokémon TCG prices lately, you already know how rare it is to see popular Elite Trainer Boxes settle anywhere near market value. For months, inflated listings and limited stock have kept Mega Evolution products out of reach for many collectors. Thankfully, as time has gone on since some of these newer sets launched, things are seemingly starting to change.
As of Jan. 8, both Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Boxes are now available at Amazon for prices that closely align with current market rates, thanks to new Amazon price cuts: the Mega Lucario ETB is now available for $103.89 and the Mega Gardevoir ETB is now being sold for as low as $97.87. While still currently above the market value stated on dedicated trading card sites like TCGplayer, Amazon is still the best place to buy Mega Evolution Elite Trainer boxes when you directly compare available listings.
For instance, the Mega Lucario ETB is being sold for $105 on TCGplayer when the lowest listing price and shipping costs are combined. For the Mega Gardevoir ETB, though, the lowest price is $133.95.
Both versions include nine Mega Evolution booster packs, a full-art foil promo card featuring either Riolu or Alakazam, 65 card sleeves, energy cards, dice, a collector’s box, and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live. The only difference between the Mega Gardevoir and Mega Lucario Elite Trainer Boxes for Mega Evolution collectors is the artwork; so if you’re a Pokémon TCG fan who’s after the best value over aesthetic, we recommend grabbing Mega Gardevoir’s while stocks last.
For those who are after Phantasmal Flames cards, the booster display box is now on sale at Amazon, too. If you’re purely hunting lower-priced ETBs in the Pokémon TCG, the Phantasmal Flames Elite Trainer box is now available for only $88 at Amazon.
