Life finds a way... to insert Dr. Ian Malcolm into your video game.

Jeff Goldblum's Jurassic Park character plays a key role in Jurassic World Evolution, a theme park-building video game coming this summer. He confirms the news himself in a newly released short video (below).

"I highly recommend it," he says with peak Goldblum inflection. "It gets 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums. That’s my highest rating."

Jurassic World Evolution looks like it delivers an experience along the lines of other business simulators like Theme Park or Planet Coaster, except there are dinosaurs. You map out your park, construct any facilities you need, and deal with crises when your dinos inevitably break loose to terrorize guests.

We haven't sampled the game firsthand yet, so the reality of Evolution may involve more, or something different. But trailers so far suggest a straightforward dino-themed business sim -- which is perfectly fine, especially if Dr. Malcolm is offering advice the whole way through.

Jurassic World Evolution doesn't have a hard release date yet, but we know it's coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can probably expect it to surface sometime around June 22, which is the day Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters.
