Soccer player scores brilliantly odd goal, follows it up with an even better tweet

When it comes to soccer, getting the ball into the back of the net is the main thing. It doesn't really matter how it happens.

Here to demonstrate that fact is Lauren Hemp, who took part in the England v Mexico under 20 World Cup group game on Sunday -- and scored what can only be described as a fairly memorable goal.

That is one undeniably strange goal, it's true.

Soon, Creech's tweet had prompted a bunch of similarly odd examples.

The best reply of all, though, came from Hemp herself.

Nice.
