An 8- to 9-year-old kid wrote Leslie Jones the greatest fan letter ever

Leslie Jones has found her biggest fan yet.

The Ghostbusters actress and comedian received a fan letter from Julian, a sweet "8-9 years old" who loves Jones' work.

After Ghostbusters hit theaters in mid-July, Jones found herself fighting a different kind of monster offscreen: Racist trolls on Twitter. Julian's letter advised the actress to ignore the haters.

"Forget what they say on the internet," the teeny fan wrote. "They're just jelous [sic]. You're a Ghostbuster and they're not."

The rest of the letter is devoted to praise for Jones and her role in the movie, and ends with a sweet, "Keep being ur self!"

All great points, Julian. We need more people like you on the internet.
