Lorde would like y'all to chill out, because her album's on the way
In 2016, the year Frank Ocean came through, it's important to remember that some things take time -- like Lorde's followup to 2013's Pure Heroine.
But unlike Ocean, Lorde has no qualms being, well, frank about exactly what's on her mind with fans.
After an impatient fan asked her, "Do you think we will ever get another album or should we just give up on you as an artist?" on Instagram, Lorde explained the situation by saying, "Give up on me if you want to!"

Lorde has been in the studio with her friend, Jack Antonoff, working on the record and figuring out Snapchat.

And even though the album's not done yet, Lorde hasn't exactly been slacking. Since then, she curated the Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack (contributing "Yellow Flicker Beat" to it) and collaborated with Disclosure. Oh, and she turned 18.
