Lorde covers Phil Collins' 'In The Air Tonight' and we're not worthy to hear it

The singer provided a rendition of the iconic song.

Oh Lorde, we're not worthy of this performance.

The singer stopped by BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" Thursday to give a performance of "Green Light" and cover Phil Collin's "In The Air Tonight." Although no strange VMAs dancing was involved, she still managed to provide us with dramatic hand gestures.

In the beginning of September while on Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast, the singer mentioned her love for Collins.

"My favorite pop males are the guys that sound like a combination of your boyfriend and your dad," she explained, "that's Phil."

And she did not disappoint with this cover. Can she cover all of Phil Collins' songs? Possibly be involve in the next live action Tarzan movie?

Fans praised the singer on Twitter for her performances, and one even included a rather satisfied Phil Collins GIF.

We just hope the real Collins feels the same way about the "Royals" singer's rendition of the iconic song.
