Joining the royal family means working now and again.

Meghan Markle did her first awards event as a soon-to-be royal on Thursday. The event was the Endeavour Fund Awards, which celebrates the achievements of wounded, injured and sick former service-personnel in the fields of sport and adventurous challenges.

Markle was just about ready to hand out some awards, when there was a small snafu with her and her co-presenter's notes.

Happily both presenters seemed to see the funny side, and it was more endearing than embarrassing.

Luckily no one will be revoking Markle's princess licence just yet (it's a three strike system).
