Meghan Markle's 'Vogue' video is basically a who's who of empowering women
The September issue of Vogue is always an important one. But this September's issue will be extra-special because Meghan Markle guest-edited it.
Not only that: the issue also happens to feature a conversation between Markle and former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.
The Duchess of Sussex chose not to put herself on the cover because, according to British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful, she felt it would be a "boastful thing to do."
On the cover of the issue you'll see the faces of some of the most inspiring women in the world: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Greta Thunberg, Laverne Cox, Jameela Jamil, Jacinda Ardern, Gemma Chan, Adwoa Aboah, Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek Pinault, Yara Shahidi, Christy Turlington Burns, and Adut Akech.
Here's a look at the cover of British Vogue's September issue. September issues are, in the fashion industry, considered to be the most significant of the year as they contain the most advertising and usually have high-profile cover stars.
The September issue hits newsstands on Friday 2 August.
