Call the internet the hypocrisy elephant, because it never forgets your B.S.

On Friday morning, the world learned that Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn is expected to plead guilty to lying to the F.B.I. about his contact with the Russian ambassador.

The guilty plea could indicate that Flynn has "flipped," i.e., may now be cooperating with Robert Mueller's investigation, providing information about whether the Trump administration colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election, and if so, to what extent.

Naturally, in response to this bombshell, the internet was full of LOLs, particularly reminding everyone that Flynn led a "lock her up" anti-Hillary Clinton chat at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

For those of you keeping tally, yes, someone expected to plead guilty of a federal crime of lying to the F.B.I. helped elect our Tweetstormer-in-Chief by accusing Hillary Clinton of crimes (for which she was repeatedly investigated and cleared).

And it seems very few missed the soul-crushing irony.

There's already a stat analysis

And, TBH, this is not a bad idea:

Still, some people kept their eye on the ball. Namely, regarding what this could mean about our President's longevity in the White House, and what he could potentially accomplish (cough tax bill cough) in the meantime.
