Nintendo just announced that a Mario film is on the way

Apparently Bowser is furious.

It's-a him!

In the early hours of Thursday, UK time, Nintendo used Twitter to make a rather big announcement.

Illumination Entertainment is the studio behind the Despicable Me films. Apart from that we don't have much information: no release date, writer, or director have been announced.

But who will get to voice this golden god of gaming?
