This week's Dancing With the Stars was as emotional as we've come to expect Most Memorable Year week to be, but it'd be a crime not to give special shout-outs to two dancers who delivered especially heart-wrenching performances.

First came Jodie Sweetin, who used her dance to highlight her journey back from the grip of addiction. She chose 2015 as her most memorable year because, as she put it, it was the year she found her passion again and got another chance to do what she loves through Fuller House.

Co-star Bob Saget even appeared in her intro package, giving props to his TV daughter and choking up a bit in the process.

"She's a great mom because she's been through so much and with that comes honest and the more honest you are with your kids the more you can be real with them and I think that's her biggest accomplishment -- that she just incredibly real and it's one of the things I love most about her," he said.

The two performed a Foxtrot to "Rise Up" by Andra Day, and the judges called it her best dance to date.

Also memorable was Nyle DiMarco's Tango. After getting comments from the judges last week about their lack of "musicality," Peta was quick to jump to the defense of her partner in their intro package.

"To me, that is absurd to say when you cannot clearly hear the music," she said. "Musicality? That's pretty hard to teach a deaf man in week 2."

Nyle insisted they march forward with their heads up, however. "Give them what they want," he said.

And, boy, did they.

Their Tango earned not only rave reviews, but Len put it aptly when he said Nyle was "proof anyone can do anything if they want to."

It was nothing short of inspiring.

Jodie may have been in the bottom three, but it's not likely she'll stay there after this week.
