Pink's response to an ageist troll should be in a museum

"I’ve earned every fucking minute of my 38 years."

Pink has never been shy about spelling out exactly what she thinks of unfair standards imposed on celebrities and women.

This week was no different, and she expertly talked back against some ageism that made its way into her timeline.

A Twitter troll slipped into her mentions and commented on how Pink, like many other human beings on this planet, is aging as the years go by — and the singer had the time to issue a thoughtful and necessary clap back.

"Wow Pink looks so old that should be named Purple instead," the Twitter user wrote to the singer.

She decided not to take that lying down.

"You must be from LA," Pink sniped in a tweet responding to the troll. "Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every fucking minute of my 38 years. How you lookin though? Cause I never heard of ya til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll."

"I am of the mindset that it's a blessing to grow old," she continued, continuing the shade towards the "little purple troll."

"That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you've laughed a lot. I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I'm alive," she wrote.

Fans praised Pink's positively on aging.

"Can't wait to see you when you're 80," one fan wrote. "And if you're still doing aerial stunts, all the better."

"You know I will!," she responded. "I’ll call it “the wrinkles and rolls tour."

Here's hoping we all get older this gracefully.
