Now the we know which new emoji are coming to our mobile devices soon, it's time to look into the future and consider what other emoji we need to add to our lives.

Thankfully, there are already people working on this important issue, and the proposed emoji are just as impressive as the most recent batch approved earlier this year.

In a post on the Unicode Consortium's website on Monday, 36 new emoji were proposed after a group reviewed over 400 candidates from Facebook, Skype, EmojiXpress, WeChat and QQ.

Usually, the Unicode process takes well over a year between proposal, acceptance and deployment of new emoji, so if any of these emoji ever make it to our devices, it won't be anytime soon.

Still, it's good to know just what kind of emoji awesomeness may one day be at our fingertips.
