Man oh man, will Donald Trump ever catch a break?

As June draws to a close, Trump's usual band of Berkeley professor critics and lefty snowflakes have excoriated the president for failing to recognize LGBTQ Pride month this year. He hasn't declared it Pride month when June began and he hasn't so much as tweeted about the celebration.

That's no real reason to think he is failing the LGBTQ community, right?? Trump had, after all, mildly scolded members of his party for their intolerance and once even waved a Pride flag upside down. So it came as a surprise to one, maybe two people that the president seemingly chose not to celebrate LGBTQ pride this year.

Give him a break, guys: Trump had plenty of good reasons to skip Pride.

Perhaps if we all approached the president with a little more empathy and a few less fiery tweets, we could all come to a place of understanding.

Here are the real, totally understandable reasons President Trump likely didn't celebrate LGBTQ Pride this year.

1. He really wanted to, he's just still busy trying to win the election against Hillary Clinton.

2. He thought the "T" in LGBTQ stood for Trump and honestly, he's a little annoyed it's not.

3. Ivanka Trump already said something about Pride and god, how much more tweeting can a president be asked to do.

4.His brain is actually three marbles rolling around in a Dixie cup so he can be a little forgetful.

5. He's the only person in the world who actually wants to be friends with Peter Thiel. If that's not Pride, I don't know what is.

6. Turns out the white supremacists in his White House aren't into the whole gay thing. Who knew?

7. He's been attending plenty of rallies full of people wearing loud costumes, thank you very much.

8. It's President Obama's fault.

9. It's James Comey's fault.

10. Also, CNN's. And the Democrats. And cryin' Chuck Schumer!

11. He was treated very, very badly by the cast of Hamilton and had to strike back somehow.

12. The staff at Fox and Friends told him not to.

13. "What happens in the campaign, stays in the campaign."

14. His entire presidency is actually just Mike Pence whispering sweet policy decisions in his ear while he sleeps. Happy Pride!
