Prom in 2017 hardly resembles prom in 1997-- the promposals alone have reached impossible heights. There are, however, common threads tying the youth of today to the youth of yesteryear, namely the prom song.
You know the one-- the single du jour that united your senior class on the dance floor for two to four blissful minutes. Because prom is grossly overrated, the rest of your night was likely average at best.
