A friendly reminder to double-check your final paper's title before you turn it in

It's nearing the end of the semester and that means final exams, final projects, and, of course, final papers.

Whether you finish that paper a few comfortable days before the deadline or in a caffeine-induced haze the night before, it's important to proofread every word before you turn it in.

And by every word, we mean not just the body of the paper, but the title and headings as well.

Because sometimes (often times), students will slap on a filler title to focus on the rest of the essay.

As an example, Elena Trueba shared this title mishap on Twitter Sunday.

Thankfully, she did catch her mistake. Others, unfortunately, were not as lucky.

This is statement about Sappho is admittedly not wrong.

This dude's professor didn't give him the benefit of the doubt.

At least this lady's professor knew it was a genuine mistake.

One teacher shared his experience from the other end.

If you're a student feeling discouraged by your lack of innovative title, fear not. One user shared the most inspirational filler-title story of them all.
