A.C. Slater visited The Max IRL and all your dreams came true
If you weren't lucky enough to go to Bayside High (we're looking at you, Tiffani Thiessen), you never got to see A.C. Slater's perfect curly mullet or deep-as-the-ocean dimples in action as he and Zack Morris finagled one crazy scheme after another.
That's why when he showed up at a Chicago-area pop-up of The Max, on Sep. 2, the world enjoyed a brief moment of utter perfection.
Mario Lopez, who played Slater on the iconic 1990s sitcom, stopped by the temporary pop-up in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood and gave employees and customers the thrill of a lifetime. He documented the experience on Instagram.

Lopez was noticeably impressed he got his own "A.C." sliders on the menu, though he poked fun that his namesake drink, the Albert Clifford, is a margarita.
Seeing him at his own locker might be "a trip" for him, but for us it's a dream come true.
Now if the gang can just reassemble for one final Bayside High photo, we will try to forgive and forget "The College Years."
