Sean Spicer weighs in on 'covfefe,' continues to baffle America

At long last, Sean Spicer has spoken out about President Trump's late-night Twitter typo, and let's just say he's provided the country with zero clarity.

During a Wednesday afternoon press gaggle, Press Secretary Sean Spicer addressed Trump's infamously meme-worthy midnight tweet, which simply read: "Despite the constant negative press covfefe."

Now, while it may have looked like the leader of the U.S. attempted to spell "coverage" and instead dropped his phone on his face and fell asleep, Trump, and now Spicer insist there's a hidden and intentional meaning behind the mystery jumble of letters.

One brave man got the chance to ask Sean Spicer the questions plaguing the minds of Americans, and though Spicer's answers were not very helpful, we are still grateful. Let's have a look at the beautiful exchange of words, shall we?

Reporter: "Do you think people should be concerned that the president posted a somewhat incoherent tweet last night and that it then stayed up for hours?"

Spicer: "Uh ... no."

Reporter: "Why did it stay up so long? Is no one watching this?"

Now from the sound of Spicer's cryptic explanation, "covfefe" sounds like some terrifying little secret code that Donald Trump and his squad have — like "the covfefe flies at midnight" or something. Great.

The internet pondered that scenario, but for whatever reason, people still have trouble accepting the fact that this isn't some elaborate scheme to cover up Trump being so awful at Twitter.
