It turns out Sophie Turner has more in common with her Game of Thrones character than you may have thought.

Namely, neither of them have a problem with going after powerful men.

Earlier in the week, Time announced its Person of the Year 2017: the "silence breakers" behind the #MeToo movement that has rocked Hollywood -- and the wider world -- in recent weeks.

At the time, Turner shared the announcement in a tweet and wrote that she was "very proud".

The following day, though, she learned who had been named runner up. And she clearly wasn't happy.

At the time of writing, her tweet has been shared over 10,000 times. While some shared her frustrations, though, many people tweeted to explain that the title is intended to highlight the influence a person has had (rather than the merit of that influence).

It's also worth noting that Donald Trump was Time's "Person of the Year" for 2016.

"This is the 90th time we have named the person who had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year," wrote Time in an intro to their 2016 piece. "So which is it this year: Better or worse?"
