Eat a pepperoni pizza pretzel hotdog at this Australian stoner food restaurant
Eating food while stupendously blazed is surely one of life's simple pleasures.
If you have endured the paranoia of people figuring out you're super stoned in public, you can be certain the new stoner food restaurant in Sydney, Australia won't give you that kind of treatment.

It's called D'Munchies and can be found in the very weed-friendly inner-city suburb of Newtown. Opening for the first time at exactly 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, it is pretty blunt who their target market is.
Richard Chand, co-owner of D'Munchies alongside head chef David Pyne, told Mashable Australia the idea had been in the works for 6 months. The location of Newtown was perfect for the restaurant as its community was "probably very open to this sort of thing," Chand said.
While the illustrated marijuana leaves emblazoned on staff uniforms and the restaurant's walls might have you thinking it's a coffee shop in Amsterdam, the restaurant does not sell illicit substances as marijuana is illegal in Australia.
Instead D'Munchies is a shrine to obscene decadence. The menu is full of food one would crave in the haze of a Tuesday afternoon smoking session.
You can giggle and chow down ravioli nachos, three cheese hotdogs, cereal laden soft serve ice cream, or top your "Chicken N Cheetos" burger with hash browns and lots of bacon -- free of judgement.
Albeit sober, we gave the first item on the menu a try: The Pepperoni Pizza Pretzel Hotdog. Try saying that two joints down.
The hot dog is loaded with a pretzel bun, sausage, tomato paste, pepperoni slices, mushrooms, olives, and a whack of melted cheese on the top. It's a combination that will leave you asking "why?" while straight, but no doubt makes incredible sense while bugged out.
At A$14 (US$10.63), it's pricier than a pack of Doritos and white sliced bread, but by god it is indulgent. The dense pretzel bun is overkill to an already heavy ensemble, but it's good they haven't skimped on the quality of the ingredients.
Up next is dessert. We skipped the doughnuts and cakes (not the space variety, unfortunately) for ice cream. The list of ice cream toppings you can choose is extensive, including Oreos, Fruit Loops, Pretzels, Coco Pops, Chickadees (why the hell anyone would want these chicken flavoured crisps on ice cream is beyond us) and Hershey's Chocolate.
It's no more impressive than a McFlurry at McDonald's, but at least the toppings aren't as boring and you won't risk the glares you'd get in a fast food restaurant. It's A$4 (US$3.04) -- cheap enough to scrounge some change from your mates or underneath the couch.
After a sumptuous feast, you'll need a lie down. Luckily there are instructions on the restaurant's walls to Camperdown Park, an excellent spot to "chill."
Of course, you don't need to smoke weed to eat at D'Munchies. It's really just another restaurant in Australia serving up ridiculous foods, such those cafés that have freakshakes and roadside diners with mega burgers.
The difference is you'll find there's way more spontaneous laughter than usual.
