Taylor Swift won the first-ever Taylor Swift award for being Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift picked up the first-ever Taylor Swift Award at the BMI Pop Awards, and we can all agree that Beyoncé was totally robbed.
Swift is the second artist to be given a BMI Award named after them -- the first was Michael Jackson, who is certainly a legendary artists. But did he ever win the Taylor Swift Award? Nope!

Even though it was previously announced that Tay would be winning the award named for her, she still delivered her signature surprised face, reminding everyone that she is the Taylor Swifti-est Taylor Swift in the game.
BMI Vice President of Writer/Publisher Relations Barbara Cane said in a press release, "We felt it appropriate to award Taylor with an honor that is as unique and special as she is.”

T-Swift wore a choker to the event, because according to Taylor Swift, chokers are the new flower crowns.
