Student suprises teacher with the shoes he's always wanted

Teacher appreciation comes in many forms.

This might include a polished apple (classic), a handwritten thank-you note (sentimental) or, in this case, a pair of Nike Jordans (extremely rad).

Hector Montez, a student at Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas, bought his teacher Thomas Walser a fresh pair of kicks in thanks for his guidance.

"You told me sophomore year this is your favorite shoe and you told me your size, but you don't even remember," he told his teacher before Walser opened the box.

"Oh man, I've wanted these since I was in sixth grade and I never got 'em," said a thrilled Walser.

Walser posted his own photo of the gift and expressed his gratitude on Twitter:
