'Tiger King' memes are a small joy during a hard time
Netflix's Tiger King — a truly strange, spiraling documentary — dropped just as the world needed, with much of the global population cooped up indoors amid the spread of the new coronavirus.
It was instantly popular and only surged in viewership as the word spread. With that popularity, of course, came memes, which is only to be expected. But these truly odd, somewhat terrifying times, dumb memes — especially those about the odd cast of characters in Tiger King — can provide a brief moment of levity.
