LOS ANGELES -- Tilda Swinton has a new mystery friend -- and though we don't know exactly who he is, we believe we have the world's first photographic evidence that he exists.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Doctor Strange star has befriended a "mindfulness meditation guru" who was brought on the set of the latest Disney/Marvel movie. The report says Swinton has grown close to the man, whom the studio flew out to Los Angeles for the Oct. 20 premiere at the El Capitan Theatre.

Citing sources it did not name, THR said during the film's elite afterparty at the Magic Castle, the guru "kept close to Swinton and her boyfriend, visual artist Sandro Kopp." The trade paper did not disclose the guru's name, nor did it say where he was from.

The studio and reps for Swinton did not immediately return messages seeking comment. THR's report did not include a photo, and nowhere among the photo agencies' offerings from that night could he be seen.

But we got eyes-on.

Mashable was there that night, and captured a man in traditional maroon robes walking the red carpet. He seemed to be roaming alone while Swinton worked the press line.

Swinton reportedly confirmed her friendship with the mystery man to Reuters, saying: "I introduced him to the project and he's been hanging out with us and teaching everybody, if they don't know, about mindfulness and about how to still the mind."

We won't be able to still our minds until we know -- and promise an update if we learn more.
