Sometimes train rides AREN'T boring.

Want to stare ennui in the face? Just catch a peak hour subway train. There you'll find humanity hurtling towards mundanity. Next stop: depression. Unless of course, you're in love.

Proving that riding the train can be surprisingly beautiful sometimes, a couple from Melbourne, Australia, just got hitched on one. And it was magical.

Ryan Jacka and his partner Hannah met exactly 10 years ago today, according to Metro Trains, who are all over the romantic gesture. Jacka contacted the train company and asked their morning driver to help him pop the question when Hannah least expected it.

Luckily for everyone involved, including Metro Trains communications department, she said yes. Passengers around them were stoked, clapping and being generally uplifted by the adorable display on their otherwise boring as hell daily commute.

Daww, look how cute and happy they are. Sight unseen on most Australian transport systems.

May you live long and train often.
