Apparently this is what love is now.

A few years ago, a woman used Twitter to ask a man out.

Maybe you're thinking, "isn't this exerting quite a lot of social pressure on the askee?" Well, it seems the man in question had his answer ready for such a happenstance.

Boom, free chicken fingers! That is one smooth operator.

Well, it turns out that despite this journalist's scepticism (and semi-disbelief in the power of love) the date went extremely well. So well in fact, that four years later the guy tweeted this...

Twitter you sly dog, you've gone and gotten a couple engaged. Props to you Twitter. Props to you.
