Val Kilmer is going to thirsty tweet about 'Top Gun' until he's in the sequel
Some actors shy away from the roles that made them famous, but not Val Kilmer. The 57-year-old actor is best known for playing Iceman in Top Gun, and ever since the sequel was announced he's been gunning for inclusion.
Kilmer posted another picture on Tuesday of himself in an Iceman T-shirt with the caption "Still got it... just sayin..."

Kilmer has got to at least make a cameo, right? Right? RIGHT? Kilmer may be thirsty, but we agree with him that the Top Gun sequel needs to include him. If we're really doing this, let's lean in.
Thus far, the sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, only involves Tom Cruise and is in the preproduction stages. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce the Justin Marks script along with Cruise. Filming will likely start in 2018, after Cruise's next Mission: Impossible press tour...plenty of time for Kilmer to continue to make his case.
