LONDON -- Victoria Beckham might have risen to fame as part of the bestselling girl group of all time -- the Spice Girls -- but, these days, she's better known for her subsequent career as a fashion designer.

Posh Spice's VVB collection comes with a pretty hefty price tag, but Beckham's new collaboration with U.S. retailer Target won't cost you the earth.

The Victoria Beckham for Target collection will comprise over 200 items for women and kids -- the designer's first venture into childrenswear.

"From the outset of my brand, I have always designed clothes that I want to wear, and that’s exactly what I have done here, but this time there are also clothes that my daughter would love to wear, too!" Beckham said in a statement.

"Designing for children is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, so I was incredibly excited to be able to incorporate childrenswear into this collection," Beckham continued.

Beckham said that being a mother has helped her understand that children need to be able to feel comfortable and free in what they wear; something that has informed her designs.

The collection will include "easy-to-wear" dresses, rompers, "playful" tops and bottoms for women with matching styles for girls, toddlers and babies.

In a departure from the designer's hefty price tags, the clothes will range in price from $6 (£4.90) - $70 (£57), with the majority of items priced under $40 (£32.70).

The collection will be available in all Target stores and Target.com from April 9 until April 30, 2017.
