SAVE $151: TV deals aren't just for big holidays and special occasions. As of April 8, you can knock 34% off the RCA 58-inch UHD webOS Smart TV at Walmart, bringing the price down to a mere $298.

TVs have come a long way in terms of quality and smart features — and we definitely have our favorites. But the truth is, most people can't tell a huge difference when it comes to screen resolution, backlights, and operating system efficiency. Unless you're a hardcore gamer, movie buff, or otherwise smart TV aficionado, you'll likely be fine opting for a more affordable model, like this RCA 58-inch UHD Smart TV, which happens to be on sale.

As of April 8, you can get the RCA 58-inch UHD Smart TV on sale for only $298 at Walmart. That's $151 off the retail cost — and a price that's going to be hard to beat.

While it's labeled both "4K" and "UHD" at Walmart's website, this 58-inch RCA TV falls under the UHD umbrella if we're speaking technically. Its resolution is 3,840 x 2,160, which basically just means it has an impressive picture. Whether you're a network TV fan, a Netflix binger, or even a casual gamer, the clarity and dynamic colors will suit you fine.

Its powered by webOS, a Linux kernel-based operating system owned by LG, and pre-loaded with all kinds of apps and streaming services — including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube, plus a content store to download others. And like most other smart TVs, it can all be controlled with your voice, thanks to the thinQ AI app.

With three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi capabilities, the 58-inch RCA TV could also be used as an external monitor for your work, for gaming, or even just viewing some of your favorite iPhone videos on a larger screen.

You don't need to empty your bank account for a new TV. For less than $300, this RCA model is a solid choice for most casual viewers.
