TL;DR: All new Audible members will receive an extra audiobook with a 30-day free trial.

The end of the year can be a lot of fun, but it can also get old pretty quickly. All the eating, drinking, and socialising is great, but everyone has their limits.

It's almost inevitable that you're going to need a break at some point, and that is where a free trial of Audible could come in handy. When you need to switch off, you can take your pick from the world's largest selection of audiobooks and premium spoken-word entertainment.

The fact that Christmas is just around the corner is one reason to sign up, but there is another thing you should consider. Until Dec. 31, all new Audible members will receive an extra audiobook with their 30-day free trial. A trial would cover you for this busy period, and provide some much needed respite.

If you choose to continue with the service it's going to cost you £7.99 per month, but you can cancel at any time if it's not for you.
