The Silhouette Cameo 4 is a solid Cricut alternative — and it's on sale
SAVE $31: As of March 3, the Silhouette Cameo 4 is on sale for just $269 at Walmart. That's just over 10% in savings.
The Silhouette Cameo 4 is an electronic cutting machine that uses a blade to make precision cuts in over 100 different materials, including paper, cardstock, vinyl, and fabric. As of March 3, you can pick one up for just $269 at Walmart.
A nice alternative to the Cricut Maker, the Silhouette Cameo 4 has a lot of the same features as its rival. Both machines, for instance, can cut a wide variety of materials, have an integrated roller feeder, have Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, and offer compatible software.
But they're also different in several key ways. While the Cameo 4 is more affordable, it's also stronger than the Maker with 5 kg of force. It can also handle longer designs and can cut material up to 3mm thick (compared to Cricut's 2.4mm) using its knife blade. Its standalone software also requires no monthly subscription fee. However, reviewers report that the Cameo's learning curve is much steeper, so keep that in mind if you're a crafting novice.
