Here's how to watch live TV without a cable package

Save $15: Insignia's ultra-thin indoor HDTV antenna gives you access to live TV and is on sale for just $14.99, down from $29.99 in an early Black Friday deal.

So, you have cord-cutter's regret. You got rid of your cable plan, but now you kind of miss live TV. Still, paying for a cable package that includes hundreds of channels you'll never watch seems ridiculous.

If you just want to keep things simple and get access to local broadcast channels, you should get an HD antenna. This one from Insignia is on sale as of Oct. 23 for $14.99, saving you $15.

Now, an HDTV antenna is not going to be as extensive as a full-blown cable subscription, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper. There's no monthly cost — you just buy the antenna and get access to local channels. One annoying thing about an antenna is that it has to be near a window to get good reception.

P.S. If you want to DVR any shows from your live channels, check out the Fire TV Recast. It pairs with an HD antenna to record live TV and gives you mobile access to your programming. Start watching live TV again with the Insignia ultra-thin indoor HDTV antenna.
