SAVE 60%: Through Dec. 31, you can get your first four months of Audible Premium Plus for $5.95 per month, rather than $14.95 per month. That's a total savings of $36.

It's National Book Month, folks — a perfect time to start actually reading (or listening to) some of those books you've had in your TBR list. Need more incentive? How about an Audible deal to make it even easier to tackle those titles.

Through Dec. 31, Amazon is offering four months of Audible Premium Plus membership for just $5.95/month (reg. $14.95/month) as an early holiday gift. While not as generous as previous extended free trial deals, you'll still save 60% overall. Plus, if you're a brand-new member, you can also score your first month completely free.

If you opt for the free 30-day trial, be sure to check at the end of the month to ensure your membership will renew for $5.95 the next month. If not, cancel and sign up again using the $5.95 per month limited-time deal, as it's valid until the end of 2022.

Audible is basically the go-to service for convenient listening, with a vast, always-growing collection of audiobooks and podcasts (including Audible Originals). You can listen to stories wherever and whenever you want via your smartphone, Kindle, Fire tablet, or any Alexa-enabled device. With a Premium Plus membership, you'll get unlimited access to its full catalog plus one credit per month to spend on any title from the premium selection (Prime members get two credits). The titles you choose to purchase with your credits are yours to keep forever. Premium Plus members also get exclusive access to sales, as well as 30% off all additional premium selection purchases.

Amazon will start billing you at the regular $14.95 monthly rate once your discounted four months come to an end. Then the ball is in your court — cancel to avoid being charged full price or keep your membership going for endless stories at your fingertips.
