MacBook users everywhere have the same complaint: its charger kind of sucks. The wires are too chunky to wrap up, making it difficult to pack up alongside your laptop. And if it breaks (and it probably will), that's almost $80 out of your pocket. The people behind this Kickstarter project know how many problems you might have with your MacBook charger, which is why they've figured out a great solution.

The Side Winder is a special case made exclusively for MacBook chargers. It holds the charger in a protective shell that prevents damage it might incur from the rumble and tumble of your commute. As the name suggests, the dial in the center allows you to wind up the entire length of wire in six seconds, so that your charger is nice and compact when you need to bring it with you. It also lets you adjust the length depending how far you are from an outlet, so you never have to worry about your charger becoming a tangled mess when you're close to an outlet or tripping over it when you're plugged in from afar.

Visit the Side Winder's Kickstarter page for more info and to drop a pledge.
