Spooky season is just around the corner, and what better way to kick it off than with some tried-and-true body horror?

Enter Appendage, writer/helmer Anna Zlokovic's feature directorial debut and part of Hulu's Huluween lineup. The new horror movie follows young fashion designer Hannah (Hadley Robinson), whose drive to succeed is constantly at odds with her intense self-doubt. Although Hannah tries to bury these worries, they soon manifest as a grisly growth on her body, known only as the Appendage.

The Appendage, in all its fleshy, pulsating glory, begins fueling Hannah's anxieties about work and her relationships. As it pushes her to greater and greater extremes, Hannah makes a shocking discovery: she's not alone in her condition. Will her newfound friends help her overcome the Appendage? Or will they encourage her to embrace it?

Appendage is streaming on Hulu Oct. 2.
