The death of the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin, still has many of us reeling. But at least we'll have her music forever.

Ariana Grande stepped up alongside The Roots to perform a touching cover of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night.

It's some timing for Grande, who has been active on the late night show circuit to promote the imminent release of her new album, Sweetener.

"I know it's a big night for Ariana — but this is what great people do when they know we need them to be there for us," Fallon wrote on Twitter.

Grande's cover follows tributes from other famous people, including big Aretha fan Barack Obama, who said the late singer "helped us feel more connected to each other, more hopeful, more human."
