Nickelodeon joins the millennial nostalgia train to bring back 'Double Dare'

It feels like we could all use a return to simpler days, when bravery meant taking on the physical challenge in Double Dare.

Nickelodeon heard the call for childhood nostalgia, and is now bringing back the kids game show with 40 new episodes this summer. And, like most things Nickelodeon, it boasts being one of the "messiest" TV competitions.

Exactly how much slime will be involved? That question remains to be seen. But we won't get out of bed for anything less than a buttload.
