Flux Design Co. is reinventing skateboards by developing a tracked electric board designed for various terrains. The e-board, called Track1, features a 5 horsepower motor that lets you go as fast as 20 mph or conquer a 50 percent grade hill. It can go on snow, dirt, sand, and gravel, and you can ride it either using the handlebars or in freestyle mode. A full charge can get you going for 8-15 miles depending on your weight and the terrain.

Track1 is currently seeking funding through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. Prices can be very expensive though, since the basic package of the board offered as a crowdfunding perk requires a contribution of $1,995 and this is with a 33 percent discount. The board is expected to start shipping in November 2018.
