Robert Pattinson is ready to show you a Good Time.

The indie thriller has Pattinson racing against the clock through New York City to save his brother, who's been locked up at Rikers.

Pattinson's character here couldn't be further away from the undead heartthrob he played in the Twilight movies – he's scraped up and and sweaty and grungy and prone to deeply questionable hair decisions.

But maybe that's not so surprising, if you've been following his career post-Twilight. Over the past few years, he (much like his former co-star Kristen Stewart) has quietly built up a resume of intriguingly offbeat work.

Good Time burned up Cannes when it premiered earlier this year, and it's on its way now to theaters. Look for it Aug. 11.
