After a week-long break, James Corden started his Tuesday night edition of The Late Late Show with a passionate speech addressing the recent school shooting in Florida.

"I may not be American, but I have experience of what happened in my country when a mass shooting happened," says Corden in the clip above. "And I also have children who are American, and they go to school here."

Corden goes on to show a graph illustrating just how huge a problem mass shootings are in the U.S. compared to the rest of the world, before using the UK and Australia as examples of countries who have used gun control to make a positive impact.

To finish, he highlights the number of surviving school children who are now demanding change -- and who have organised March For Our Lives on 24 March.

"Don't listen to me," says Corden. "[...] But you can listen to America's children."
