It would be an understatement to say healthcare workers around the world are having a very rough time. The coronavirus pandemic is stretching medical systems, with overburdened hospital staff struggling to keep up while also facing the threat of being infected themselves.

One such worker is Utah nurse Kimball Fairbank, who is currently in isolation after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Joining Jimmy Kimmel via video call on Thursday, Fairbank shared that she "kinda felt like she got hit by a train," but fortunately her symptoms are generally very mild.

Fairbank also confided she hadn't really been cooking while isolated, mainly surviving off food delivery. So, to help tide her over and thank her for her work, Kimmel and Friends alum Jennifer Aniston surprised the nurse with the news she'll be receiving a $10,000 gift certificate from Postmates.

"But you have to use it all in one shot," Kimmel joked. It's a small moment of much-needed brightness amongst everything that's happening right now.
