Jimmy Kimmel pranks people into thinking Kid Rock won in the midterms

To be fair, celebrities running for political office isn't exactly a new thing in America.

Couple that with the fact Kid Rock did actually hint that he might run for Senate back in 2017 as part of a publicity stunt, and you can kind of see why the people in the clip above might have been confused.

What they don't realise when they're talking to the reporter is that the whole thing is actually just a prank set up by Jimmy Kimmel.

The results certainly make for some entertaining viewing, though.
