Chinese swimmer Fu Yuanhui is winning hearts across the globe.

Speaking in a post-race interview, the 20-year-old Olympian blamed what she believed was her poor performance on her arms being too short.

Fu didn't know she had actually scored a bronze medal in the 200-meter backstroke when she was speaking to a reporter after the race (1:04 in video).

"What I want to share is that even though I did not win a medal..." Fu tells the reporter. "But you got a medal. You are third," the reporter responds. The look on Fu's face is glorious.

Suddenly, the interview turns around. "Well, then I think that's not bad at all!" Fu exclaims. Not bad indeed.
