Seth Meyers mocks Rudy Giuliani's idea for an impeachment podcast
Watch Next

Impeachment hearings have started, and the nation is on tenterhooks. The late night hosts have their opinions, the Fox hosts have theirs — and apparently even Trump's attorney, Rudy Giuliani, has a thought or two he's thinking of sharing via an actual impeachment podcast. Yes, really.

"First of all, you can't do a podcast on impeachment hearings when you're a key figure in those hearings," says Seth Meyers during Thursday night's "A Closer Look" segment on Late Night. "That would be like a murderer hosting an episode of Dateline."

The idea of Giuliani hosting a podcast was particularly odd for Meyers, as he'd previously joked about that exact scenario during a Late Night episode earlier this year [you can spy it in 6:07 in the clip above].

Still, reality mirroring satire seems to be about where we're at these days.
