Simone Giertz is making videos again!

The YouTuber and "Shitty Robots" creator revealed that she had a brain tumor in April, and underwent surgery in May. She took a break from vlogging and inventing to recover, but returned to YouTube on Tuesday to update her followers.

Since her tumor (which she playfully named Brian) was noncancerous, Giertz said her grade 1 meningioma was a "good" brain tumor. But she compared a "good" brain tumor to a "fun" traffic jam. "They just suck at different amounts," she said.

Although Giertz stayed lighthearted on her social media updates while recovering, she admitted that she was terrified facing surgery. She even started writing letters to her loved ones, calling it the "fucking saddest thing" she's ever done, but gave up and decided to wake up fine.

Giertz, being the positive, hilarious person that she is, even joked about all of the weird parts of recovery, from the air bubbles trapped inside her skull to post-catheter farting on the nurse who helped her shower.

"I was like, oh my god I'm so sorry," she laughed on camera. "That did not come from my butt."

(Simone Giertz is back, ladies and gentlemen!)

She even joked about the swelling she dealt with during her recovery, which made her look like Gollum and "the evil kid in Toy Story."

Overall, Giertz said her experience completely changed her perspective on life. She may even put together a documentary about her recovery.

"Of course I've changed personality," she said, not because her brain was cut into, but "because I've gone through this major thing and major things change you whether you want it or not."
