This weekend's Saturday Night Live included a sketch that revolved around a competitive fighting game tournament clearly based on Mortal Kombat. And with it, the SNL team introduced a hilarious new character.

The new character, Boo Boo Jeffries (played by the hilarious Tiffany Haddish), doesn't really fight so much as do little dance moves associated with powerful artists like Beyonce and Rihanna. Ironically, one of her weaknesses is fighting — not great when you're playing as a literal fighter in the fictional game Death Fight 12. Unfortunately for Kenan Thompson, he was stuck with her.

As a bonus, Pete Davidson's character in the sketch -- SonicGoo -- has a similar alias to one of the best Mortal Kombat competitors in the world: SonicFox.
