Stephen Colbert's perfect Freudian slip is the only good part of the latest Kavanaugh news
Watch Next

In the course of summing up the latest, grossest revelations about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's nasty history with women, Stephen Colbert has to say the word "penis" many times.

Kavanaugh has been accused of doing bad things with his penis so often that it's just necessary to say the word penis a lot, whether you're discussing the things Kavanaugh actually did with his penis or the fact that Trump spent some of his toilet-tweeting time this week defending Kavanaugh's penis-related alleged misdeeds.

So it's only natural that the word "penis" was going to find its way somewhere in Colbert's monologue it ought not to be, much like Kavanaugh's actual penis has repeatedly, allegedly, done. Not only is this a good summary of a gross new chapter in this saga, it's also just a moment of much-needed levity watching a professional funny person be reduced to giggles because he said penis accidentally.
